Hello, and welcome to our web site. My name is Carl Cooper and I am owner and founder of Silco & co. and Silco products. We have came up with an idea of an easy way to make potable drinking water from contaminated lakes, ponds, rivers, streams etc. With these simple steps, you can have up to 10 gallons of drinking water from almost any water source with just one kit. It was made to be easily carried in a backpack for instance if you were going camping or hiking. It's made for travelers, for people hiking in the mountains not having a clean water source. Or for the people in other countries that are not blessed with the fresh taste of non contaminated water. We are a small company located in Dallas, Georgia. We first started working with colloidal minerals in 1997. I have invented and patented a formula consisting of colloidal minerals that extends the shelf life of food products, one of them being water. One of our main goals is to try to make sure that everyone around the world has clean potable drinking water.
In most 3rd world countries people, animals and live stock have to share their only source of available water. This is causing the people to become sick and possibly fall deathly ill and die, because of the bacteria and diseases that the animals pass on through the water. This is what got me started in my business, we can help the people by providing them with a process where they can go to the river, lake, pond etc and take dirty contaminated water and in less than 24 hrs have clean potable drinking water.
Concerns about contaminated water
We would like to talk to you about the rapid concern of contaminated water. 2/3 of the earth is made up of water. Without water there would be no living things on earth. So it is important that we keep from polluting and destroying the world that we live in. So many lives a day could be saved if they had clean water to drink. Thats why we knew that it was crucial that we do something that could possibly help to change the world. And clean water is that step.
Alot of 3rd world countries have heavy metals in their water and most purification kits do not remove them. But ours does, our process consists of making all the contaminants and debris, along with the heavy metals, to sink to the bottom so later on you will be able separate them from the actual drinking water. This process is called flocculation.
I have always been interested in the process of turning dirty water into clean drinking water. But we didn't really get started until 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana. Thousands of people were stranded for days without even so much as a cup of water to drink, but were surrounded by 100's of millions of gallons of water. This is what got us going, the idea of being able to get water from any source being lakes, ponds, rivers, streams, wells etc. And making it possible for people to drink and possibly even save lives is amazing.

The process
This is the bag that you put the dirty or contaminated water in.
You empty this packet into the clear
bag and let sit for atleast 8 hrs.
After 8 hrs have passed you poke
a hole in the bottom of the clear bag right above the settlement and let all of the clean water drain into the black bag
The black bag is used for storage for the
processed water because the sunlight
deteriorates the purification
process.
Now after you have put the water
from the clear bag into the black bag empty the packet with the green dot into the black bag and use the stir stick to stir. Wait atleast 4 hrs for water to finish purifying. After the 4 hrs is up you now have safe clean potable drinking water.
