 Hydrogen Peroxide

Lets talk a little bit about Hydrogen Peroxide. The chemical formula for hydrogen peroxide is H202 as you know water is H20. Hydrogen peroxide has one more atom of oxygen then water and there's something else that consists of oxygen, that being ozone. The ozone consists of 3 atoms of oxygen. Every cell in our body contains hydrogen peroxide or H202. There would be no life on earth as we know it with out Hydrogen Peroxide. Oxygen by its self is a very harsh molecule. In fact if you apply water to iron the oxygen in the water will cause the iron to rust. Our body consists of friendly bacteria and harmful bacteria. Friendly bacteria flourishes in high oxygen environments. But the harmful bacteria using carbon monoxide so they do very badly in oxygen rich environments. When an unfriendly bacteria invades your body the hydrogen peroxide releases 1 atom of oxygen, the results being Hydrogen peroxide becomes water and 1 atom of oxygen which becomes a free radical and kills the harmful bacteria. It was discovered to work as far back as 1920. Much of the interest in Hydrogen Peroxide was waned in the 1940's when prescription medications came on the scene. Since the 1940's there has been little economic interest in funding Hydrogen Peroxide research. After all it is dirt cheap and non patentable. It is not advisable to use drug store type Hydrogen Peroxide for oral consumption, as it has additives that should not be ingested. 35% pharmaceutical grade hydrogen peroxide should be the only peroxide ingested safely. Hydrogen Peroxide is a very strong oxidizer if not diluted. It can be extremely dangerous or even fatal if not blended with chlorine free water at a certain concentration.
